Sandra is a chartered occupational psychologist, specialising in safety & wellbeing at work, having carried out safety culture assessments of hazardous industries worldwide, within an environmental company. She has facilitated individuals and groups in co-designing control rooms to updating critical work processes, engaging specialists both practically and emotionally.
Having managed multinational projects and collaborated with global project teams, Sandra has created and co-facilitated training and development workshops, she has lectured in environment, health & safety culture for Sheffield University's MSc in process safety and trained ERM's UK offices in safety leadership.
Sandra believes that strong team-working delivers strong outcomes. She has been interested in cohousing communities and sustainable cities since volunteering at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales and her style is collaborative, evidence-based and spirited. The clients with whom Sandra has worked spans Healthcare; Oil & Gas; Mining; Manufacturing; Defence; Transport; Power and Pharm/Chem sectors. She takes an integrated person-systems approach to optimising work-live space, supporting structures that enable people to perform well, enjoy time and learn together.
